Maleficent + Sammy
Due: March 13
Three Year Old First Freshener!
Spring 2019 - ???????
Due: March 13
Three Year Old First Freshener!
Spring 2019 - ???????
Colors By Mom: If you care about that sort of thing. . . . .She's that seal-grey and white and Sammy was black and white, so... Black and white, probably. LaMancha colors are a puzzle though...Last year we bred a white to a white and got a black and white. Go figure.
Finale + Dutch
Due: March 25
Two Year Old First Freshener!
Spring 2017: Twins - 1 Buck, 1 Doe
Spring 2018: Triplets - 2 Does and 1 Buck
Spring 2019 - ??????
Colors By Mom: If you care about that sort of thing . . . .. . Moonspots: Finale has moonspots but Dutch has no extra white on him; 50% chance of moonspotted babies. Of Finale's four babies, only one had moonspots.
Belts: Finale has a half belt and 1/2 of her babies have had belts. So 50% chance of a belt.
Black/Brown: Finale also had a black buckling last year when she was bred to a black buck, so she carries the black allele. Dutch is black. 50% chance of black; 50% chance of brown. Babies will carry the black allele.
Frosted/Solid Ears: Finale's ears appear homozygous white to me, so I am betting on solid frosted white baby ears.
Roan/Solid: Finale is roan, but Dutch doesn't appear to be. Babies are probably 50% chance of roan.
So... A black belted moonspotted roan doe would be: 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 ````chance...

Santra + Marshall
Due: March 27
3 Year Old!
Spring 2017: Triplets - 2 Bucks, 1 Doe
Spring 2018: Triplets - 3 Bucks
Spring 2019 - ??????
Colors by Mom: Coming Soon . . .. . Belt: Marshall has a white 1/2 belt, but Santra has no extraneous white on her. I am predicting 50% chance of white splotches.
Black/Brown base color: Santra is brown but is a Ninja daughter so carries the black allele. Lucifer is black. 50% chance of black babies. Brown babies will carry the black allele.
Roan: Santra and Marshall are both roan, so babies will likely be roan and may be VERY roan. I am not sure if the gene has a cumulative effect.
Frosted/Solid Ears: I am not sure at all. I thought Marshall was homozygous white but now he's looking like he has spots which in this co-dominant trait might indicate that he carries the solid allele. I THINK Santra is homozygous white. So my money is on frosted ears, but maybe not.

Our Kids!
We are willing to keep kids for two weeks after birth, but they can be picked up as soon as you like. After two weeks, we will charge five dollars a day for board and care. We will bottle raise the kids ourselves and suggest you continue this. Our own kids (that we retain) will stay on the bottle or lamb-bar for as long as four months. All kids are registrable and once you have paid off kids you can leave with them and their registration paper work. I will try to fill your reserved kid, but if the doe decides to have all boys and you reserved a girl (or something like that), then you are welcome to get another kid who is not claimed yet. Also, it will be first reserved, first served!
Senior does (does who have freshened) will have the limit of four reserves and junior does (this is their first freshening). three.
The only situation where I would keep a kid that is otherwise reserved is if the doe dies. Thanks!

*Non-refundable except in the case that the kid gender you want is not born. Then, of course, you get a cheerful refund.
Warning!
We promise all kids will be CAE-free, G-6-S normal, and CL free. We will not keep any kids that were reserved because we 'like them too much to let go'. The only situation that we would keep a kid that was not retained is if the doe or buck dies.
The first person to reserve is the first on to pick kids. No whining. If there is only one doe born and two were reserved, we will refund your money.
