Witch Hazel Sarina's Santra
2019: Santra has really grown into herself, looking more and more like her mother Sarina! She is very systematic in her mannerisms and seems to be slowly climbing rank within the herd. Still, she loves to be brushed, milked, and is a complete sweetheart!
2018: Santra's production has improved since last year, however after her peak production did go down significantly. Santra's udder has matured nicely and she has one of the best personalities. Santra has a very business-like attitude toward being milked, and is one of the easiest does to hand milk that we have. Over all, we are looking forward to her coming year's kids and watching her grow!
2017: Santra's first year milking was a good one! She developed a nice little udder and though she was not a huge producer, she made a respectable amount. She has been easy to handle on the milking stand and really took to her job well. In fact, it was a common occurrence for it to be Santra hollering should anyone be late for milking. She knew what was to happen and when, and was never afraid of letting us know when we had messed up.
2016: Santra has really grown into herself and as a dry yearling has the body capacity that some of my other does are severely lacking. Santra is a sweet, laid back girl. She loves to be pet, is highly food motivated, and is content with her mid-ranking level in the herd. With that easy going personality, Santra is rarely one to pick a fight with one of the older girls and is content to potter around after Wish and April.
